40 Year Project: Why Supplies Are Low

40 Year Project: Why Supplies Are Low

Why can’t the Bay Area build enough new housing to curb home prices? Mission Local describes an extreme example of a 10-unit housing project in Bernal that took 40 years to obtain permission to build after the 77-year old developer bought the two parcels back in the late 1970s. Hopefully it won’t take before another 40 years to finally construct!

If you have the patience to build your own house, we can help you with the process. Not interested in the headache? Want an already-built beauty in Bernal Heights? Contact Dan now for more information and to schedule a tour of 936 Esmeralda Ave! See BernalHouse.com for more info.
