The Pandemic has exacerbated the housing crisis, and, in response, the State of California has passed the COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act. The key components are as follows:

  1. Moratorium on evictions through June 30, 2021
  2. Financial assistance to qualifying landlords and tenants to subsidize a portion of the tenant’s unpaid rent between March 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021.
