While the vibe is tech forward, the general culture is friendly and inviting, making it a sought-after South Bay neighborhood for many.

With the suburban sprawl, cars are a must-have to get around locally. Public transit includes buses, CalTrain, and the VTA lightrail system for commuters looking to avoid rush hour traffic.

Despite its lack of a downtown or any real nightlife, Santa Clara boasts over 400 restaurants that range from cheap ethnic food to ritzy steak houses. There are also a number of bars/lounges plus a brewery in the area. For entertainment, Levi's Stadium is home to the 49ers, pro soccer matches, and shows from top names in music like U2 and Coldplay. Others spots of note: Ulistac Natural Area for an urban escape, Birk's Steak and Chophouse, and VIP Oriental for a relaxed drink over Korean fare.
